Ratings and reviews

Too much going on with this app. Not friendly. A lot of amazon advertising forced on you when your just tying to get something to work right. The shopping list is horrible. You cannot move items up and down on the list to just get the items for that particular shopping trip. Takes too many clicks just to add something manually. Amazon is pushing deals and it gets in the way. I just want to see what's on my list quickly. Echo device is constantly saying "oh by the way". No way to turn it off.

Smart home integration is bad, and getting worse. Want to use a routine....good luck, it might work. The endless spamming of "by the way" plugs is frustrating. There is no permanent way to stop this. Amazon is rapidly falling behind the competition. Do better. Unwanted notifications on Alexa devices that cannot be be turned off. Disappointing and frustrating!

9/11/23. So in 3 years of posting bugs and functional issues, nothing much has improved, sadly. The app is clunky, and functionality demonstrates that little testing gets done. Examples include; If i click a notification, the app opens to a general screen that doesn't relate to the notification. When I use the app to play something on a linked device. Exiting and reopening the app shows that the app has no clue anything is playing (no volume control displayed). Very disappointing.
