I'm glad that they finally fixed the WebView update popup glitch. This app is so great! If you are planning or considering an Alexa device, try this app out! You get most of the features of Alexa, but you can actually see what she can do. This is a great place to get comfortable with Alexa before going ahead and buying one. It's fun to ask Alexa if she is friends with the other voice assistants, like Siri, Google Assistant, or Cortana. The app and the product are both great! Thanks, Amazon! Having Alexa on Android is awesome.
Great love my Alexa's, but why can't we have an alarm that wakes you up to radio still??? Come on and get this much sort after feature implemented please! Unable to use drop in via app or Echo to Echo! More info on what each update brings, you say the same thing for many updates!
Have not experience any issues with the echo dot nor the Amazon Alexa App. I like the fact that I can use the app to control things at my home besides speaking to the echo dot. For faster access thought, it'd be nice if we can triggered alexa to respond on the app by saying "Alexa,...". Or, design a widget that we can single press and say the command. Then it'd be really great. Edited - I like the follow-up feature. Really useful ☺👍
Amazon, being first and foremost a technology company, should be ashamed. Alexa is beyond useless where I live in France, despite the language being set to English. So I thought while I'm visiting the US, I would test Alexa on my phone, to see if the utility was better. But when I open the app, the language is set to Japanese... With no option to change it.
What's all this about Alexa? "To continue to use this skill free give it a 5 star rating." Bribery for a false 5 star rating? Oooo naughty naughty!! You only find this out AFTER you buy one of these. Not very impressed.
Such a horrible app. Why cant they just create a native app. This hangs , and is next to impossible to do anything on it. The only reason why it is given a high star is due to thr device, which is fantastic. But the app sucks
* You can now tap the Alexa button and use your voice to ask Alexa to play music, answer questions, check weather, traffic, and sports scores, and more.
* The updated Smart Home section lets users rename and control smart lights, locks and thermostats. Furthermore, by organizing Echo devices into groups, users can control devices without specifying device name.
