It won't even open on a Samsung phone
Great for 6+ year olds! My soon-to-be 7 year old son had no interest when I showed it to him but once I downloaded it and found a category of stories that I thought he would like, he has been non-stop reading and proud of himself. Love the built-in glossary with pronunciation features.
This app is amazing! My 6 year old loves to read on it because he just has to tap on words he doesn't know and it says it for him. He's now reading words he hasn't already learned. Also my 8 and 10 year olds are enjoying reading for the first time.
One thing my son likes about books is the pictures that illustrate the progression of the story. This app has almost no change in visual explanation. A comic book type bubble conversation that becomes dull and boring after reading begins, accompanied by a few different pictures sprinkled in the story. I particularly did not like the frequent use of "a'int" in one story. Really Amazon, reading is supposed to be an educational task for children, at least use proper grammar. After reading two stories, I am almost certainly going to cancel this app and keep reading traditional books. Very disappointed Amazon, you could have done better.
Wouldn't let me get past the payment screen. I reset my phone twice and reinstalled it twice and it still wouldn't move past the payment screen. Very disappointed
I couldn't get past entering my sons age, it wouldn't go any further.
