"Zero margins" option, please! When I'm reading on my phone I don't want to waste any screen real estate on margins. It already has a physical bezel. Why margins? Also, the kindle store looks like it's straight out of the 1990s and has no wish list functionality.
Still waiting... For a very simple functionality of turning pages instead of swiping left and right... Is it too much too ask for??? Why is it taking so long for development team to implement?
Settings always revert!! No matter what I name my device or what I change my "send-to" Kindle address to, when I look in Settings it has always reverted back to "Stephen's 2nd Android Device" (no clue where my 1st Android Device supposedly is!) and the randomly generated Kindle address. It is only like this in the Android app, when I look at "Manage My Devices" on the Amazon site, the device name and send-to address are correct. This is extremely annoying.
No access to books downloaded via kindle lending library and still needs a free read aloud function like the actual Kindle and the ability to have other books on it too again, like the kindle. If the actual kindle and Google Books can do it so why can't the kindle app?? I have access to the Kindle Lending Library at the moment but I can't read any of those downloads via this app.
Can't transfer more than 10 titles I would have given this app 5 stars if only I could somehow mass transfer my ebook collection from my library to a device. I have over 9000 ebooks, so transferring in 10 book batches is not exactly feasible. I may not need that many at one time, but I'd like to download all of them onto my laptop for offline reading and I don't want it to be an all-weekend long project. Please let me know when you resolve this issue. Then I'll give it 5 stars.
It's a decent reader even though it lacks continuous scrolling or even paging with the volume buttons. It makes up for lacking those fundamental features with a slick auto-scrolling mode that helps you read faster and great integration with Audible. The pages stay in sync while listening to Audible (awesome feature), but I've had many situations where hitting the 30-second back button takes you back something like 30 pages.
