Excellent and not at the same time I love that Amazon has given Prime members a decent library of songs we never really needed. I also really like that they've created an Unlimited option that competes with the big boys Spotify, Apple, and Google for a couple bucks cheaper. There are two things that drive me crazy about the actual Android app. No continuous playback, and doesn't remember my previous playback spot when I close the app. Add those two and I'll ditch Google Play Music and give you 5 stars.
Nice UI but.... Absolutely beatiful UI compared to most competitor's. The huge downfall for me is the library. The other service I use has a lot better Library for the same price.. Oh, and where's your Family Plan for a few extra bucks. I'm allowed 6 users at any given time for $15 a month with Google Play Music
Slowly taking away songs... This isn't a bad service at all but they should have started with the pay model from the get go. Songs that were available for free before are now for paying customers only. Still a lot available for prime members, but this trend will only continue and more songs/albums will be held behind the pay wall. Customers wouldn't be upset if it was this way from the beginning. If you're going to pay for a music service then go with spotify, which was already much better.
So far so good I normally use Pandora but I've been getting tired of the same old songs. I thought I would give this a try and I really like it. Their music has more variety, the sound quality is good. Not to mention unlimited skips and you can add songs you like to your favorites and create your own custom play list. Cool stuff.
Great for students I love being able to find pretty much any song under the sun as before my music library was very limited. I am an auditory learner and having music helps me remember what I am revising. This app is an obvious app for anyone with Amazon Prime or Student (if you don't have either try a free trial).
A great alternative to itunes... I'm not as old as this is going to sound, but the prices for digital music is a little steep especially considering that you are paying for something you can never really physically hold in your hand like a CD or a cassette. Since the industry no longer makes singles, being able to buy the few songs separately vs. the whole album is great. Would have given 4.5 stars since it's not a huge issue.
