About this app

America Bitcoin ATM Wallet is a Bitcoin wallet for Android. Your private keys are generated on your device and stay there. We never receive them, and there is no account to sign up for.

WHAT YOU CONTROL

• Your keys, your bitcoin
Private keys are stored on your device using Android Keystore. We cannot move your bitcoin, freeze your wallet, or recover it for you.

• Your own backup
Each wallet is backed up by a recovery phrase that you write down yourself. There is no cloud backup. If you lose both the phrase and your device, the bitcoin cannot be recovered by anyone.

• Your choice of fee
Set the fee you are willing to pay, starting at 1 satoshi per byte. The app shows current network estimates, and the decision stays with you.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Create and import wallets
Create as many wallets as you want, or import an existing one. Supports hierarchical deterministic wallets, SegWit addresses, and legacy single-address wallets.

• Watch-only wallets
Follow the balance and incoming payments of a cold storage wallet without putting its private keys on your phone.

• Replace-By-Fee (BIP125)
Raise the fee on a transaction that has not confirmed yet to speed it up.

• Multisig vaults
Create multisig wallets and co-sign transactions with hardware wallets or other devices using PSBT.

• Decoy password
Set a second password that opens a different set of wallets, for situations where you may be compelled to unlock the app.

• Lightning, with your own server
Connect an LNDHub server that you run to send and receive Lightning payments. No Lightning server is included or configured by default.

BEFORE YOU START

• Bitcoin transactions are irreversible. Once a transaction confirms, it cannot be cancelled, reversed, or refunded, by us or by anyone else.
• Check the receiving address before every send. Malware and clipboard hijacking substitute addresses.
• If someone pressures you to send bitcoin urgently, treat it as a scam. Callers claiming to be from a government agency, your bank, or technical support do not ask to be paid in bitcoin. Stop and contact our support team at [phone] before sending anything.

HOW IT CONNECTS

The app reads the blockchain and broadcasts transactions through Electrum servers, and you can point it at your own Electrum server in settings. Bitcoin price data is fetched from public exchange APIs.
