It's a great app but I must edit my rating much lower because what I need *Most* from a white noise app is reliability/consistency, and it hasn't delivered in that respect. I've woken up in the middle of the night many times when it shuts off, and it's hard to fall back to sleep. And just today, I used it so my landlord didn't hear my kitten meowing incessantly, and the app shut off again, so I may actually have an issue bc the app didn't perform as needed. Issues on both my Samsung & Pixel.

If you are trying to get away from this app for it having ads, don't. The only thing it has is a stationary ad on the panel and if you come out it doesn't pop up just to feed you with an ad, so it really is near free, ethically at least. For the sounds themselves, there are a variety of sounds that you could possibly want, and even taking a step further and letting you mix the sounds you'd like. Overall it's a very solid app with a bunch of quirky options at it, give it a try.

Doesn't collect data, has a really good library of a variety of sounds, the sound quality is very nice and clear, you can combine sounds and adjust the volume for each individual sound as well as adjust the volume of the app in relation to the volume of your device (meaning I can play the sounds in the background without interfering with things like the alarm, or videos, etc) The fact that you get so many sounds and features like infinite playback for free is amazing.
