App is great when it works. It won't let me sign in. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted my phone. Tried it on another phone, same issue. Either pressing the login button does absolutely nothing or I get an error that says they are have problems logging me in. I'm trying to book a trip and give you money and the app just won't work. Frustrating and hard to understand. Glad I'm not on a trip and needing to use the app! Just tried it on an iPad and it works just fine. Nice.

this app is useful to purchase train rides as well as see where the train is. I used it a lot on my long distance trips to see where we were and to get updates about arrival and departure times. The only issue is that information about points is not integrated within the app and goes to the Amtrak website. But the app is useful for what it's needed for - keeping track of my train, purchasing tickets, and showing a ticket when boarding

When I book tickets a month or more out and the departure times change, I can no longer access my trip. If I call I can get updated PDF tickets, but I lose all ability to check or upgrade my trip without the hassle of calling and waiting on hold. This issue is frustrating and it's the same on the website. If you're going to make everyone call, hire more agents to answer.
