Excellent UI, like the tap to preview option for imgur, saving images and gifs within the app is also a good feature. All external links can be accessed within the app itself, a huge plus! The best app to access the front page of the internet!
I like it better than the official app and am considering getting the 2.99 version to support the developer even if the ads aren't bad. Constant updates and a great interface.
So I've been using RiF for the same time I've been using Reddit itself, so this review is a bit overdue. When I first started using reddit I tried a few apps and stuck with this one because of its performance, UI and useful features. All this is to say I've never felt inclined switch, so I rate 5 stars :)
I've been using this app for Reddit for a few years now. It's been very stable and most updates have added great features. One of the better apps on my phone.
This app is my favourite medium to use for redditing. However, recently I've had problems with some imgur links. If the link is very content heavy (multiple images/gifs or very long gif), the app just crashes. This is only the problem with imgur so I'm not sure which is at fault here. Alternatively, my phone cannot handle it, maybe cpu or ram get maxed. I haven't downloaded imgur app and I don't really want to either so hope that is not the solution. Otherwise, RIF would be perfect for me!
Crashes constantly. I have to close and reopen the app every few minutes because I'm getting the "can't load reddit data. Please try again later" message. It's been going on for over a week now so I wonder if they're going to fix it soon? My husband is having the same issue
