My 16 month old daughter has severe developmental delay and doesn't speak or know any animal sounds. This app is amazing, it holds her attention more than books or anything else and I love how it says what each item is and makes sounds, it's very entertaining for her but still educational.
The voices saying the words alternates between multiple voices, some of which are poor quality computer generated with poor annunciation making them hard to understand. There is no consistency from word to word. The sounds used to audibly illustrate the images also vary in quality. The graphics are the most polished part of the app.
My 19 month old loves it that the picture spins when she touches it. At first she was disturbed by the loud sounds made by the vehicles such as fire truck and digger. After a few times, she got used to it and actually loves to listen to the sounds!
The ads at the bottom are annoying, my 13 month presses them frequently by mistake. But otherwise this is her favourite app by far. She's learning so many words!
My 20 month old daughter likes this app. However, she does frequently tap the ads at the bottom but will exit and reopen the app cause that's all she knows how to do. I have to go to my internet browser and close the 20 windows she's opened. Some sounds are incorrect like a sheep sound for the goat and other issues where some images don't even have sound when they should. The switch of voices is annoying but it's ok for a free app.
My son is 1 year old and absolutely loves this app. He loves the farm animals and tapping them to hear the noises they make. He gets so excited everytime we go through the different words. A great app for toddlers.
