This app no longer works, everytime I try to open an epub or pdf an error message pops up that says "error opening file" so this app is now utterly useless. I have switched to a FREE ereader and it works perfect and best of all it was FREE.
I enjoyed this app until one day I suddenly lost DRM authorization and the app returned an error every time I tried to sign back in (the same DRM account works on other devices). Submitting a support question did nothing.
Older version much better. Now cant open a book with out the screen dimming so u cant see the words in most lights. Havent been able to enjoy since that hapened.
Immediately crashes on opening
I have used this application for years and my main complaint was that it did not keep track or use the series information. I was very happy to discover that when I import a book from calibre with the correct tags, Aldiko now automatically adds the book to a Collection (series name) and sorts the book in series order. I am not sure when this started. Thank you.
Still using Aldiko but very disappointed that there is still no way to sort books into series order. This info is contained within the metadata for each book so should not be difficult to implement. You've lost a star cos of that. Been using the free version for years. Tried others but keep coming back. Free version does everything I need but bought the premium to support the dev.
