Bluetooth PBAP and IrMC/SYNCH Profile for phonebook transfer from phone to car



This app replaces the built-in Phonebook Access Profile (PBAP) on many phones and fixes some known problems. Please visit http://www.android-rsap.com/bluetooth-phonebook.html for more details and compatibility list.

Additionally this app implements Bluetooth IrMC/SYNCH profile needed by older car kits from Nokia and VW. IrMC/SYNCH profile only transfers contact data, no call lists.

Solved Bluetooth connectivity issues with Samsung A70 and Android 9 with Mazda 6. Prior to installing Bluetooth phone book , connection to car would take three attempts to import contacts and phone book. When connected, the Bluetooth connection would be dropped when making it receiving a voice call. Installing the app solved the connectivity issues. Can stream from Spotify and make voice calls without Bluetooth connection being dropped.

Fixed the phonebook function on my HTC One M10 and Pioneer stereo. Other phones (nexus 5x) synced the phonebook straight away without any issues but my HTC did not sync at all. I downloaded the phonebook app and my contacts, recents, missed & dialled synced across. For some reason not all contacts synced properly and they weren't in alphabetical order, just randomly mixed up. This might be because I'm running android 8. But it was better than nothing and contact names still showed up on incoming/outgoing calls. So I just set a few presets for my most used contacts and left it like that. It works at stabilizing the connection between my Jaguar XF and all my Samsung phones. After 4 months Jaguar still didn't have a fix and nothing on the Samsung forums would help until a user mentioned this app. I have to admit that I don't understand exactly what it is doing to solve the problem, but it is simple to install and the result is fantastic! Thanks!
