In addition, Effort Tracker scores are saved instantly to a database that students and parents can access. Saving effort scores provides daily updates to students and parents about student classroom effort. (Each student has an access code that is used to view their Student Report)
Effort Tracker and Effort Tracker Pro are web-based "hybrid" apps. You will be downloading a "wrapper" app that is used to connect your browser to your Effort Tracker account. All transmitted data is SSL encrypted. Because Effort Tracker is a hybrid app, expect slight delays when executing some of its features (e.g. saving to database, switching categories, or changing event settings). Normally, these delays are less than five seconds but could be longer depending on your wifi or phone connection.
After you've downloaded the wrapper app, setting up classes and students is easy. Just log in to your account from a laptop or desktop computer. Go to: www.e4effort.com.
