Not bad The thinking behind this app is right-on (a minimal player that doesn't try to decode above what the OS supports). But it needs a few things to be a "go-to" app: - Bring back the old, smaller thumbnail layout or at least make it an option. - Folder Support: don't just lump everything together, or at least make that an option. - Better Thumbnailing: Sometimes (about 50% for me) the auto-thumbnail just finds a black spot in the video, there needs to be a better way to handle this. - Need support for "Next/Prev" buttons on headset. Most players implement this, so it's something people expect. Apart from that, this is great, please keep it up. Thanks!
It works Finally an app that works better than the other player apps. At first I was confused about it but then learned that it works with my default player. I didn't like my default player bc it didn't have a play menu or a pause button. This app gave me all the basic features that I wanted and without ads. Now it is very slow organizing my videos. That needs to work faster. But it does find all my videos.
Spot on! I like my apps lean and fast, and this little video player hits both targets superbly. UI is minimal and clean, thus making user experience straightforward. Jumping to arbitrary position in videos happens instantly. Nowadays apps usually try to be everything and the kitchen sink, which is why the lack of clutter in Video Player is truly refreshing. Tested with Nexus 4.
Video Player Works great. There's only one thing preventing me from using it. I have a ton of shows on my tablet organized by shows and seasons in folders. In this UI it throws all the videos into one display which doesn't tell me which episode is next in the series. In a progressive show you can't really watch the episodes/seasons haphazardly.
Fake I would like to say one thing about this application. It just finds videos on your phone and thats all it does then shows you application s that you have to play them. That all it does and it sickens me that they lied that way.
Just works I run the MIUI version of the Android OS, so finding apps that just work are slightly a little more involved. That's why when I find an app that just works I have to make a little noise by saying so. Works with no complaints and no problems.
