Since the last update the search stop option has been replaced by search vehicle number. Why the heck would I want to search vehicle numbers, if I knew the vehicle number I'd already be on the vehicle. At any rate, the search function can't connect to the server so I can't test whether it still searches for stops. Please fix.
Location of nearby stops no longer works
Probably good if you know the area Been 30 years since I caught a tram. What I want is. I have a given tram stop Nmbr. I need to get off one stop before that. What's that stop No? Doesn't show on map. Now I have GPS enabled, so show me nearest boarding point. Nope. Can't do that either on this app.
Much better than official app! Just the best tool for anyone who has to put up with Melbourne's woeful tram network. Makes it much easier to tolerate. Don't wait for a tram in the rain without it!
Used to be excellent... I've used Tram Hunter for several years and found it great. However recently it has often been displaying errors with retrieving data. Don't know if this is a problem with the app or with Yarra trams / PTV data feed
The original and best Early adopters of Android only had this app to use for years before yarra trams finally made an android port of their app. This one works just as well and is less cluttered.
Finally, a new release. Thanks to @rockgecko-dev for much of the API update work!
- Updated DB to include new route changes (e.g. Route 58)
- Updated Network Map
- Update to newer Android API
- Update Google Maps to API v2
