New complaint: since an update now I don't get any alerts at all, which I suppose is only slightly worse than getting so many alerts I can't bother with them... It works fine with my device (DVR), my main complaint is that I can only set alerts by device and not by channel (i.e. per camera connected to the DVR), my other complaint is that you have to connect to their site and can't connect directly to your device while on the local network.

When it works, it's great, but that's rarely . Since the update, I can no longer get to live feed, only video clips, and when I go to full screen on the app, suddenly I switch to Chinese characters instead of English....wth?? I think there is a 10 year old doing the programming on this app as his school project or something because we've had nothing but issues for the few years we've had these cameras. Of course, they have only gotten worse with every "helpful " update. Run from these.

Worst app ever! Really, there was an update in Dec? With so many complaints about excruciatingly painful playback failures, and they chose not to address this with their update?! This system was a complete waste of money if you can't use the app, especially away from home. Forget about any cameras that are seemingly too far away from the base, which really aren't, but requires constant rebooting. I don't know if it is recording when it has the black screen, because the playback won't work!!
