Terrrible new UI. Too few stories on the main screen because of.the overly large headlines and pictures. Also no option to swipe from one story to the next any more. Who on earth thought that this was an improvement?
How to get old UI back? New one is horrible. Not easy in anything. It used to be easy reading. Now it's difficult scrolling and no reading. Update 15th Feb : removing app. After the latest update hardly used it. It's no fun experience. Pitty.
How dare you AOL! (Just a guess) This was a great app! Now made almost unusable. The new ui is ok, but i lost all my favs. Also now there is no way to tell what articles I've read and the ones i havn't (Without having to read the entire articles title). Then these new, very intrusive, ads. And to top it all off, I had to uninstall after app drained over 30% of my battery daily.
Issue 1: the new app deleted all my saved articles. Not cool. Issue 2: I can't log in with my account Issue 3: I can't post or read comments. I detest it and now only use a web client to access Engadget.
I really like the new updates over the old app. Performance is so much better. My big issue and almost makes the app unusable is the scrolling. It's very inconsistent, sometimes the scroll stops straight away, some times it keeps scrolling for ever, other times it Just skips to a random section in the article and you lose the spot you were up to. Fix this and I will update my review score
I used to love this. But since you changed the UI I hate it. Doesn't work in landscape mode any more; too much scrolling as it's now far too large. Oh, and get rid of the politics and bring back tech news. Uninstalling as soon as I've written this.
