Layout is decent compared to the older version. The one major thing that keeps driving me crazy is the fact that it constantly jumps away from the section you're reading like it's constantly trying to load the page. Makes it infuriating to read any long articles.
Used to work good but now it dosent load that many articles anymore. A couple updates ago it started and now I can go back as far as 7 hours ago. Another irritation is the ads, I am trying to scroll down and the ads go full screen just because I am scrolling. Super irritating
Broken again. Doesn't load any articles past the first dozen or so. It was fine a few days ago. This used to happen from time to time with the old app too. Does anyone at Engadget actually use the app? Hasn't someone noticed that it's broken again?
It's good for all things tech. As much as I've enjoyed being up to date with everything new, I've come to an unfortunate realization that Engadget is biased. That category would be Samsung. They can paint an awful picture of the editors drooling over everything Samsung, it's blatant. I've been an HTC fan since the Hero days to the M10. When you use a product that works great, it's then you can see where their favoritism comes into play.
A tech news app from an established tech company should drip with genius. This is mediocre. After the latest update my feed takes forever to refresh.
Whilst the UI and design is wonderful and 5 star worthy, the app is basically unusable when reading articles as the scroll position randomly jumps all over the place and it's been this way since the relaunch.
