I like the app but.. It could use a material design makeover. Other than that I haven't had any problems so far
Buggy and getting worse The app has great content, but the bugs make if difficult to use. Plus for some reason it decided to use up nearly 1gb of data yesterday! Not happy.
Decent source, bad app It's just too heavy of an app considering it is only meant for reading the news. App auto updates for new stories maybe 50% time. Highlighted stories are permanent for the last year. The app has a lot of problems to overcome
Fails to update - now fixed The changeover from 2015 to 2016 seems to have broken the app. It no longer updates with any new stories since 1/1/2016. Clearing data and cache makes no difference. Update - now fixed, thanks.
Pretty good The app seems to struggle updating and I'm never sure if I'm looking at the most recent posts or not. The slider at the top hardly ever updates and has very old stories on it. Besides that the app good stuff. Engadget has been a daily visit for me for years now and the quality has only improved (even though you swallowed the great and mighty Joystiq).
Doesn't Support Commenting nor True Multitasking 😬 Add back commenting support! BEFORE: When in the middle of an article/response and I switch from the app to another or just turn off my screen on my OnePlus One, the next time I'm at the app, it refreshes the entire article and comment section as-if it crashed and needed restarting, making me lose complete track of where I was or what I was typing 😠 Fix this stupid iPhone-like experience, my OnePlus One has more than enough RAM to hold this puny app in memory. Better off with the website in Chrome for now.
