Best app ever! I only wanted this app so I could use my tablet (mounted in my truck) to make phone calls over my stereo as I don't want to mount my phone because its too small, and I use the tablet as a wireless media player and information center displaying OBD II information. I do not think this could work better! Very excited! My only question is, does it have support to add 2 different phones??
I wish it worked for me, but I couldn't get the messages that kept appearing on my phone to go away. I received them, read them using the default text tool, and my phone kept telling me I had all these messaged I hadn't read. u couldn't look at the message waiting light and know if it was a new one, or one of the dozen left in Tablet Talk limbo? I'd like to get my $ back if I could please? Unless u want to fix it?
It works, but... Exactly what I want but sadly it doesn't work well. It receives pictures but not any multi-party MMS. When sending any MMS it loses sync and send never completes. I tried all settings, copied MMS network settings from the phone. It does not know slight differences in numbers such as +1 country code from someone whose number is not in contacts that way. The messaging app for phone force closes immediately. There's plenty other message apps and ways to make calls with a tablet so those elements are irrelevant. It looks very nice, synced easily over Bluetooth and Wifi including public mode. Sent message to support, elevated to next level, too late for refund, no response after months.
Tablet Talk Pro: For the most part works great. Can send text messages from my tablet. Almost foolproof. Would definitely recommend. Con: On long texts message appears to be cut into 2 -3 lines, becoming several texts, but very readable. Could be just my tablet & phone combo.
A Must Have For Tablet Users With Phones Tablet Talk is the only SMS/MMS dialer app utilizing Bluetooth or WiFi to transceive message and call data. The app works great, is lightweight, and I use it daily to reply and receive SMS and MMS messages over Bluetooth directly from on my tablet. The app has handfuls of options to suit your preferences and it "just works"; so well, in fact, that I have it set to start automatically on my phone so I can simply open the app on my tablet and get to business. The phone calling function works flawlessly with Bluetooth headsets like the LG products that can pair with more than one device simultaneously. I recommend this app to everyone who doesn't want to juggle their tablet and phone when at home and on the go!
Almost perfect. The app works great. However I have a Sony Xperia Z3 Dual SIMM dual standby Phone. SIMM 1 is AAT in USA which is set as default on the phone itself through settings. SIMM 2 is international. The app keeps switching between the two SIMMs when sending texts. Is there any way to specify which SIMM to use? When using the international SIMM I get charged by the SMS. This can get expensive in short order. Any help would be appreciated.
