I just installed (11/06/2015). On the phone (as others have noted) I keep getting notification of text that I got 4 days ago, so it should not even show up in this app. I dismiss it on the phone but it comes right back. Equipment: Phone: Samsung Note3 and tablet: Samsung NotePro12.2. I had to force stop it on the phone.
Trying it out Bluetooth works. Got wifi working.Tried to call fom tab. Would not work. Maybe only bluetooth calling. I have used mighytext in the past on tab which commuicates with phone by tunneling through gmail account. So I can leave phone at home, get my texts and call via my magicjack app over wifi. The distributor of tablet talk should create a youtube video about the app rather than leaving buyers to lurch around without instructions. Not sorry I paid for this app but I wont uninstall mightytext
Talk feature does not work. And nobody will help. Despite several emails all ive managed to get in response, several times, was that someone would contact me. Nobody ever did.
Best app ever! I only wanted this app so I could use my tablet (mounted in my truck) to make phone calls over my stereo as I don't want to mount my phone because its too small, and I use the tablet as a wireless media player and information center displaying OBD II information. I do not think this could work better! Very excited! My only question is, does it have support to add 2 different phones??
Didn't Like It.... I'm giving one star for the fact that you can use your cell number for this. Other than that, I sent a few text messages to people, and the message was sent in annoying broken paragraphs, unlike one whole paragraph when I text from my phone. Also, I couldn't get my phone and tablet to stay synced throughout the day-I had to keep checking to make sure both devices were enabled. This was too much bother for me. I'll just keep my phone handy for texting while I'm using my tablet. Will uninstall this app.
I wish it worked for me, but I couldn't get the messages that kept appearing on my phone to go away. I received them, read them using the default text tool, and my phone kept telling me I had all these messaged I hadn't read. u couldn't look at the message waiting light and know if it was a new one, or one of the dozen left in Tablet Talk limbo? I'd like to get my $ back if I could please? Unless u want to fix it?
Tablet Talk - Added Android -5.0 Lollipop support.
Tablet Talk now includes the native Android messaging app for the Nexus 5 and KitKat phones, giving users an alternative option for the default SMS app.
The issue reported by users who received an earlier update has also been resolved.
