Update: 3 stars.... Had to change from 5 stars to 3 stars; it doesn't appear to have been updated for a while. I'm using the Nvidia Shield now and thought surely this would work, but it doesn't. I was sooooo disappointed. ApeDroid, please update so I can use this again because I enjoyed it so very much; I really miss it! Old Review: 5 stars.... I wanted a wallpaper that didn't cast a lot of light into the room. I recommend this to all my fellow insomniacs. You just have to keep trying until you find what works for you. This works for me.
Simple, non-distracting, dark, perfect. The stars do not look real, but do look like those from the Star Trek classic series. For me, that's a good thing. More importantly, while there is non-stop movement, app and bookmark icons really stand out and are easily seen. Also, nothing is better than a black background at night... no blue light which has been determined to interfere with sleep. No bells and whistles, but still with constant, simple motion. I've been using this wallpaper on every Android I've owned since Version 2.
Great app! Thanks man, just what I was looking for, works great on my phone. I love it because it works like it's supposed to, simple to operate, and isn't asking for permission for everything on your phone or overloaded with adds everywhere. Great work dude!
Love it. Can I get a half speed forward? Slow this down to cruising mode.
Star field live Pretty cool app. If you're into stars......this app is the one.
Perfect Simple but effective. Reminds me of the star field wallpaper of Windows 3.1. Great job
Version 1.8 caused problems on devices with low heapsize settings so 1.9 uses less variation (and less memory) on low memory devices.
Added more variation to the starfield
Added "Always in center" option. Useful for Nexus 5 launcher.
Made movement a bit more smooth.
