The auction industry has changed dramatically over the last 2 years. With our free List Assist app, we allow you, the end user, to inventory, photograph, and upload your surplus equipment to the Bid-Assets.com online auction portal.
This free app gives you the power to do what we as auctioneers charge you $40 per hour for. Because this can be done "offline" you don't need to have internet access to enter your information. You can take as long as you want. List Assist is also designed to be used for multiple users. Just make sure that the Worksheets have the EXACT name on each phone and that item numbers are unique. Example: Phone/Tablet 1: Items 1-100 Phone/Tablet 2: Items 101-200...and so on.
When you get back to the office (or any wi-fi connection), simply upload everything at once and then we'll take it from there.
No need to rename or resize photos, List Assist does this for you. We've found it easiest to speak the descriptions in. To make things faster, many of the fields that stay the same are "memorized" for each entry. You may also use the copy feature for similar items.

You do not need a contract with Bid-Assets to use the app. However, before you upload your items to our server, you must enter into a contract. Once contracted, you will be given a password to upload your data to our site. Since you've just done all the work, here's the best part: We don't charge you a commission! We are paid by the Buyer in the form of a Buyer's Premium.
Your only expense is a 3% payment processing fee, should you agree to allow Bid-Assets to collect the credit cards. If you already have your own Merchant Account and would like the buyers to pay you at pickup, this fee is waived.
If you choose to have the Bid-Assets team do the inventory, auction preview, and pickup, you would pay travel expenses plus $40 per hour per staff member.
Your organization will receive a check within 15 banking days of all funds collected (minus agreed expenses).
