Okay, okay. I'll forgive the ratings nag because this is probably the best third party mp3 recorder I've ever used. It gets a true capture. I know the recordings match how I sound in the phone exactly specifically because of the limitations of the microphone and bass in my voice. Most of it is truncated. This app captures as much as possible from the mic. It's excellent. I can't wait to see how good it looks in a few months. No complaints.
What I love the absolute most is that this recorder captures the voice with GREAT clarity. I had a pre-installed recorder on my Samsung S5 but it is garbage. It sounds garglely and highly distorted. So, I had to use my actual video recorder because it's audio is much clearer. Problem with that is how much space it takes up on my phone. I was about to go buy a 1TB SD card and spend a few hundred but my friend told me to check for a better quality recorder. I saw the ratings on this were good. I downloaded it, and am extremely pleased. Not to mention I can get tons of recordings now because of how much less storage space is used by audio only verses audio/video combined. Thank you very, very, very much for making this a free app!
Was decent but now has a new problem. Besides the annoying fact that you CANNOT auto save to the SD card, this thing will no longer allow you to rename a file unless it is the most recently recorded file at the top of the file list. Any older files cannot be renamed from within the app. This should be a simple fix. A fix that should never have been need in the first place.
I recently began to use this app to record bird songs. I have not yet mastered the controls. I have made several fair quality recordings. I would like to be able to lable/ rename those recordings. I am still learning to use it but it shows promise.
Haven't found one thing wrong. Was listening to music while recoding and could still hear what me and a friend were talking about.
No ability to change "save" destination to SD card. In this day in age with phone manufacturers cutting back on internal memory, how can a recording app NOT offer you to change to a micro Sd card?
