It is of paramount importance to keep the mind concentrated in auspicious meditation,in order to attain the purity and perfection of the soul.There is a need for a prop,to help intensify the process of the mind acquiring concentration.The Anänupurvis are simple time tested tables,which have been thus formulated by Jain monks, combining mathematics with spiritual meditation to aid the concentration of one's mind.
