Welcome to the RMC Events University of Virginia Ambassador Program app. RMC Events is Virginia’s Premier Staffing Provider providing event support staff to over 6000 events at over 100 different entertainment venues annually across the Commonwealth!
The UVA Ambassador Program app provides features to assist and support RMC Event’s efforts to enhance safety for the University community. The primary purpose of the Ambassador Program is to provide high visibility and high proactive engagement with members of the community in the Ambassador Patrol Zone to enhance overall safety. The Ambassador Program app will serve as a communication, documentation and informational tool to support this effort.
The RMC Events Ambassador Program app features the following:
-One-touch calling to local cab companies for safe rides home
-GPS turn-by-turn directions to student dormitories, libraries, and local bars
-Push notifications to share emergency and program information
-Directory of phone numbers to quickly contact law enforcement and Ambassadors with the push of a button
-My Location feature to pin and share locations via email or SMS, take and share photos of incidents, and time the duration of incidents.
-Take and share photos of incidents
-Link to weather information and training
-Note feature to take and share notes from incidents
-View photos of suspicious or wanted individuals identified by University and Charlottesville Police.
