The Mission of the Snowshoe Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in our local communities through assisting local organizations and / or individuals in areas of health, human services, education, recreation, the arts, culture and the environment, with an emphasis on children, youth and family programs.
The Snowshoe Foundation is dedicated to the financial support of local community organizations whose activities provide benefit to the people of Pocahontas, Randolph and Webster Counties of West Virginia. These counties are the residences of the majority of our employees at Snowshoe Mountain. As a caring foundation, we will seek to enhance the quality of life of the residents of our region while making our mountain community a better place to live.
The Snowshoe Foundation organizes three major fundraising events each year. These events, among other initiatives throughout the year, will provide for fundraising to support a variety of community endeavors.
Applications for funds must be submitted by organizations or individuals in the community and will be evaluated as to their merit by the Snowshoe Foundation allocation committee.
