Does not yet work on S5 my main reason for buying this was to geotag my pictures with MGRS for planing military training CONOPs . Crashes every time you take a picture. Will update as soon as the 7$ app updates and works on my S5 at&t You can screen shot to achieve the desired picture, so far everything else works, if you like this app, mgrs grid reference might just do it
Conflicts App works fine for finding location. Problem is. It interferes with everything. When I want to open files and documents this app conflicts and automatically tries to open them, then it takes you to a map where it attempts to find your location... if this didn't happen then it wouldn't be so bad..
Dissapointing NO moving map. Yes, your position marker moves, but the map must be manually moved with it - annoying. NO configuration settings. NO offline map storage. NO compass calibration. NO feeling of credibility as a Mil-spec app 'for the troops' due to update lag. It does run without errors on an LG G3.
No interoperability Severely lacking in the interoperability with its apple counterpart. Also,it lacks many of the features seen on Apple. I only purchased it to be able to recieve map overlays for the TOC , which it cannot do. Purchased over a year ago and it's still lacking the same functionality as iOS. Good concept, great on Apple, disappointing on Droid.
Missing critical features Needs: - Offline maps (because T-Mobile's data coverage is horrible) - Distance and bearing (for CAS) I've seen reviews requesting these same items from around 6 months ago, so I know I'm not alone in this.
Works well Wish you could color code way points, add color coded routs of ingress and egress leave notes, draw on the map as if it were a real map with a transparency on top , AO(s) numeric/alphabetic coded as well as a expandable mag grid with the option to view numeric / alphabetic call system. Maybe the option to enable real GPS tracking with other users of your choice (with a call sign and choice of unit type symbol as we as color coding for each ( maybe for admin purposes with force on force training
Bug fixes and optimizations.
It shows MGRS grids and locations on the map, and saves waypoints in your phone
