During any audio/video call, by pressing your phone's volume up or Volume down key (depending on your preference), you can mute or un-mute your phone's microphone with ease.
Begin your audio or video call as usual. While listening you can press the volume +/- to mute your microphone. Meanwhile you can go to any other apps or browse the internet or even lock your phone and put it in your pocket. When it is time for you to talk, just press the volume +/- again and instantly your microphone will be un-muted and you can speak.

Does what it says, but at the cost of your Vol - or Vol + key. What good is more convenient muting if you completely lose the ability to adjust call volume? If this app could distinguish between a single and double press, or a short and long press, the volume adjustment function could be left intact. But as it is, this is not a good compromise.

I downloaded it to see if it can solve a problem I have: I need a way to toggle the mic for fitness zoom clases in a noisy enviroment, bluetooth earbuds don't have a mute button and the old style handsfrre sometimes have but are no very durable or comfortable. The app works exactly as stated, the interface is simple to use. Unfortanetely it only works with the hardware volume buttons on the phone, the ones on my earbuds doesn't trigger the desired action.

Veey Nice app. Notice: when turning off the notification should have something to see whats going on, the right bar human notification is not reliable but job done with the buttons. Check the human buton icon on shortcuts. Its not working from there. But from what i checked through store, its a very nice and job done app. I will make it 5 star if you fix the shortcut from the icon right bottom and working. In few words sattisfied.
