The English and contemporary Mandarin translations are good. However, users have to change the phone's language to Chinese in order to access the Mandarin text. This would be perfect if the app allows users to swipe between English and Mandarin in-app to get a fuller appreciation of the original text!
The Greatest Tacticians Manual Made Into An Interactive Application! This has become my second favorite ebooks, first is the Bible, in my collection. I like to read this because of tactical ideas that The Art Of War explores.
Useful for marketing people Ever since we downloaded this app - it was recommended by a supervisor - we have a lot to talk about especially in assessing our marketing actions. Also, discussing Sun Tzu's prizes words became a fun activity during idle times at our office.
Art of war Only idiots think its about knowing the enemy weaknesses. It about exploitation by prediction or forcing their hand to an advantage thats yours. Like all foreign books much is lost in translation. You must know the culture and language to truly appreciate the teachings. If its that bad why are the stratergies still used after a thousand years. Oriental culture has a lot to teach us if only we would listen.
6th century our written by 6 year old? If you want to write your own ideas as old wise ones, get the spelling & grammer right at least- the entire work can be summed up in one word: EXPLOITATION - use the enemy's weakness as your attack point - lame & common sense, but that is only my opinion... (Just think what Alexander the Great, Gengas Khan, & other leaders would use in battle- they would not write goodness such as this.) A good day to you, May your seas stay calm & a steady wind fill your sails
Uh App is what it claimed to be, and to the guy saying something about how other strategists wouldn't write like this remember: it's translated into English, and also many of the great strategists followed this book. Not knowing about this book then making fun of the translation of it does a very good job of making you look ill informed.
