Hansen Optometrists app helps our patients to protect their vision and to access information about our practice.
It offers eye health break activities that encourage patients to use a wider range of motion with their eyes and improve the health of their eyelids and tear glands.
Our app is designed to be helpful to all of our patients including the elderly, children, parents, contact lens wearers, computer operators and spectacle wearers. We will help our patients to download the app in the practice so we can then use it in the consulting room to set up reminders for eye health activities, future appointments and replacements of contact lenses. The Hansen Optometrists app was recently awarded the best new innovation for optometric practices at the 2013 Australian Optometric Practice Conference.
Hansen Optometrists app includes
•Eye health break activities that encourage users to improve their eye movement, tear and lid functions and general visual hygiene. •Reminders to perform eye health breaks, attend appointments and replace contact lenses. •Contact details, tap to call and email, map of optometry practices. •Tap to make appointments. •Tap to reorder contact lenses at discounted prices. •Links to Hansen Optometrists website and facebook feed for news and promotions.
