2. Lossless audio available up to 24-bit/192 kHz. Hi-Res Lossless requires external equipment such as a USB digital to analog converter.
3. Lyrics Translation and Lyrics Pronunciation is available for select songs in select languages and scripts.
4. Users under the age of 13 cannot collaborate on playlists because they are not allowed to have identities within Music. Users in Cameroon, China mainland, Malawi, Mali, Russia, Türkiye, United Arab Emirates, and Uruguay cannot collaborate.

Availability and features vary by country and region, plan, or device. Subscriptions automatically renew unless they are canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions in Settings after purchase. Optional App Permissions:
Notifications: To send push notifications about upcoming releases, new artists, friend activity, and other happenings on Apple Music.
Contacts: To recommend friends you may want to connect with on Apple Music.

Camera: If you want to create a personal profile on Apple Music to share and connect with others, you can choose to take a profile photo. You can also choose to take a photo to add to your Personal Playlists.
Location: To set your city to find concerts nearby.
You can use Apple Music even without providing consent to any of the above optional app permissions. However, some features of the service may not be available.

Ratings and reviews

Apple music is probably the best streaming app out. the audio quality is great and album organization (studio, live, ep, comps, appears on) is incredible tho sometimes the appears on is missing an album or two but that's understandable. My biggest gripe is the search function. If search could be improved to more accurately show results (e.g.not show songs that are missing terms in my search) or learn a person's preferences and display reflecting results first I'd give 5 stars all day.

I really wish my "downloaded" music didn't constantly get frozen in buffering. Every hour or so I have to take out my phone and skip a song that refuses to play. Even if it wasn't downloaded I have great signal most of the time, so it's obviously a problem with their UI/music player. It's been broken for the last five years, so I doubt it'll get fixed any time soon.

Overall the app has improved over the last several years for Android. Main thing I'm looking for now is to add podcasts and/or audio books, to round up the ends that Spotify brings over Apple Music. If it weren't for audio quality being superior and having to reconfigure playlists I've had for quite a few years, I'd consider Spotify just to add podcasts & audio books to my access.... here's to hoping these could be new features on here sometime!
