4.Users under the age of 13 cannot collaborate on playlists because they are not allowed to have identities within Music. Users in Cameroon, China mainland, Malawi, Mali, Russia, Türkiye, United Arab Emirates and Uruguay cannot collaborate.

Ratings and reviews

I really wish my "downloaded" music didn't constantly get frozen in buffering. Every hour or so I have to take out my phone and skip a song that refuses to play. Even if it wasn't downloaded I have great signal most of the time, so it's obviously a problem with their UI/music player. It's been broken for the last five years, so I doubt it'll get fixed any time soon.

For how much this costs, it leaves a lot to be desired. Deleted songs from the library continue to come back no matter how many times you delete. Searching for songs has to be exact match, if you type "a" and the artist has "á", then it's no results. Also, the search expires in a few minutes so if you want to go through the results you have to keep typing the same thing over and over. Last, it returns incomplete results from my own library. It's a frustrating user experience to say the least.

Caveat emptor! When it works this app is okay, although the only reason I used it is because Apple Music is free with my Verizon account. Spotify is better in almost every way, but the real reason for the 1 star review is that Apple can and will delete your Apple ID without warning and without recourse, leaving you to try to rebuild a music library built over decades from scratch. And they will owe you *nothing* for anything you spent on in-app purchases.
