The Beats app now supports the new Beats Studio Pro, and is compatible with the following Beats products: Beats Studio Buds +, Beats Fit Pro, Beats Studio Buds, Beats Flex, Powerbeats Pro, Powerbeats, Powerbeats3 Wireless, Beats Solo Pro, Beats Studio3 Wireless, Beats Solo3 Wireless, BeatsX, and Beats Pill+.




ANALYTICS

You can opt-in to send analytics back to Beats in the app. Analytics are designed to protect your information and enable you to choose what you share. Apple collects analytics information about your Beats app and your Beats products, such as the device software versions, device rename occurrences, and device update success and fail rates, in order to improve the product.

None of the collected information identifies you personally. The information collected will only be used by Apple to improve the quality and performance of the Beats app as well as Beats products.

Ratings and reviews

The app and earbuds themselves are fine. The only issue I have is that I would get constant notifications every second about the earbuds being connected. It's gotten annoying, and if I tried to tap anything at the top of the screen, I'd have to tap the notification away every single time, at every second, for every day. I tried turning off notifications, yet it still pops up. Overall, the earbuds ate good the app not so much.

Has been the most consistently unstable app on my phone. Crashes whenever you truly need it. Thanks Apple 💩💩💩 Well the last update seems to have solved the crashing problem but is still mostly useless. It usually fails to detect the headphones even when they are connected and therefore won't show status or allow setting changes. A constant source of frustration. Thanks Apple 💩💩💩

You still have to open the app 1000 times a day to get to noise canceling mode. So lame. If no audio is playing it switches back to 'transparency'. Sometimes it switches back for no reason. You can get between the other two modes just by holding the button, but not noise canceling. WHY. There was an update that supposedly fixed this BUT DID NOT. So in summary, the hardware works fine. Please, just let me choose the default noise canceling mode.

What's new

Introduces Mute function support for Beats Fit Pro and Powerbeats Pro, while paired with a supported source device. Now you can easily mute yourself while on a phone call using the onboard ‘b’ button.
