The team is so active and responsible They team is really responsible in terms of timelt delivery. I had 2 occasions in 1 it was delayed by 15 min and in the other the restaurant was not willing to deliver even after accepting the order. In both cases the zomato team took active steps to get thd foid delivered and also later they paid back some amount as a token of apology. I really liked there efforts. Great going. 😊👍
I hate it! It was my first time placing an order with the mobile app and it sucked! The order was late for over an hour and the only update the chat reps were giving was that they're not able to get in touch with the rider/delivery guy. Our place is not hard to locate and the restaurant where the food was ordered from wasn't far from our place at all. I will never place an order with Zomato again!
Easy to use This is an easy way to find, and view restaurants. I have a tendency to be either indecisive, or know exactly where I want to go. This app is the tool for both. The reviews on the restaurants seem to be pretty accurate, but I always take into account that people have different perspectives, and their circumstances could be a singular event. I recommend this app to my friends whenever they ask me how I found the places we go to, or if a visiting person asks me where to eat in our town.
Spyware, poor filtering, wasteful They steal your contacts and read your SMS messages. Even so, the app doesn't filter well and many locations are skewed. They also left the old, non-functional Urban Spoon up on the Play store. They'll probably delete this and other negative reviews again as they have in the past.
DIDN'T LOOK OPEN AT 6:40am Waitress did NOT turn up lights until after 7am! Place looked closed. Drove by & left. Called to ask when they open; waitress very sarcastically said "we're open now". Asked for house "specials". Her sarcastic answer was: "items are on menu". Asked where is menu with pumpkin pancakes. She answers "Oh". And, finally brings "Fall Specials" separate menu. Now who is STUPID??? I won't return! Owners should know what a witch this waitress is! She certainly has a negative ATTITUDE!
A recent update of this app now forces you to give ratings to the restaurants from where I have ordered food. Without doing the rating you WILL NOT be able to continue on using the app. So ZOMATO decides what I should be doing. This is not acceptable for me as I believe that it should be the individual's decision weather to give a rating or not. Uninstalling it.
