Currently the most dominating app in India. Do I think that some of the restaurant's listed are random? Yes! But thats where ppl can review/comment to help other ppl out. So sooner or later, we will all know whether the place is worth it. As far as delivery goes, for the most part, it's on time. I'm expecting future improvements by better communication with the restaurants though. Also, after an order is cancelled, it would help if the refund procedure is quick.
I ordered through zomato and food came to me wasn't eatable. I understand zomato don't make the food but the restaurant it is tied up with are all never heard in my area. Yesterday I came to know that from the restaurant i ordered is not a actual restaurant but a mini van on the society corner. Seriously...is there a race to bring maximum restaurant onboard without checking that they actually exist on real or not.
Worst delivery experience! I had been using this app for a long time now and in my address, I had more than 20 orders delivered. But for one order, I had to navigate the delivery guy on how to reach from the restaurant! I had to call him and give instructions as he went to completely opposite road! It took 30 mins more to get it delivered! Later this delivery guy was arguing that the address provided by me was wrong! He raised his voice and started quarrelling. Had informed this issue two times to Zomato support but seems they just say sorry to keep the customer happy!!
Buying tomato is much easier than buying food from Zomato. It sucks. Order fails because of some reason and you are forced to get refund on Zomato wallet instead of source from where you made the transaction (e.g. credit card, debit card). Different customer executive says different things. Your money is blocked and you are forced to buy it from Zomato even if you don't wish it
Zomato took the order and didn't deliver food. after 2 hours all I can get from them is that they are sorry and unable to contact restaurant and I should have patience as food might be delivered. They refunded my money after more than 2 hours post my order and didn't get the food at all. And all they say is sorry for the inconvenience sir while I have to go out to make alternate food arrangements for 8 people at my home for whom I ordered food online. Thanks Zomato for such great service.
These morons don't understand the importance of service and time. They just apologized for a irritatingly late order at late night. I was all hungry waiting for food when I realized that it took precisely 92 mins for me to receive a plate of momos. To add on to my misery the momos were as cold as a dead body. That's it and all Zomato repeats and says is Sorry...better service next time...
