Still Great, but notification sound is bad for those hard of hearing. The sounds are all really delicate for my ear, even at full volume I wouldn't hear them if I'm buried deep in my work, so I'm going to use my own ringtone. I remember when this app had more features for free users a while back, but it's still fine as it is.

The app does not limit the sound volume and you can use any custom sound from your phone. I assure your that the app never had so many features even in the free version :).

Perhaps pricier than is truly competitive, but exactly what I wanted – and in the pomodoro market the latter is quite unusual. No to-do list, no calendar reminders, no pretty pictures, no motivational quotes, NO TOMATOES, just two timers with alarms. Perfect. The paid version allows two different alarms and some other, ah ha, 'bells and whistles', but the free version seems useable as is, if minimalism is what you're after. PS, do take care that your power settings won't switch off the app! šŸ‘

Lets you go through all the steps of choosing length of work session, break, etc, and then tells you it can't be saved without paying. Pointless app, if I'm forced into someone else's idea of the sessions I need. Also doesn't seem to work without being open in foreground - useless as I want to be prompted to take breaks while working (in other paps of course!) on my phone. I gave it another try as it's been updated since my first review. But it's dreadful.

The app will change the sound profile during work session and will revert it back to your original sound profile during breaks. I can't imagine what went wrong but you can always toggle this profile from the quick tiles menu/ top drawer. Can you please retry? Edit: Is this behavior consistent? I cannot reproduce this.

What’s new

The new release comes with:
- Live Update notification support
- ducking background audio when the notification sound is triggered
- an even smaller app size
- some minor UI polishing along with translation updates
- app stability improvements.
