Subscription? Seriously? New updated just came out (after years of nothing) and I only saw it for a few days before it booted me out and said I now need a yearly subscription. Why would anyone pay a subscription for this? Is it valuable? Yes Would I pay a one time fee of even $10m probably. Is it worth a yearly subscription? No, subscription fatigue is real. I don't need subscriptions to every single app. A one time fee works great. Maybe have additional content you can buy later, but this..

Hi, we appreciate your longtime support! We understand the frustration and apologize for any confusion. But it’s just $3 per year, not $3 million! 😄 This small fee helps us keep the app updated and improve features. Feel free to share any suggestions—we value your feedback!

It's probably fine and I've heard good things but I'll probably never know first-hand about the entire app. It looks like it was built with graphics for toddlers. They want you to sign up but doesn't tell you the price upfront. I'm not into that sort of business practice so I'm out. Edit: After the response from the developer, I found it's only $3 a year. Why not just write that up front instead of seeming sneaky with the free trial?

Thanks for the feedback! Just to clarify, the entire business model you’re concerned about is actually a whopping $2.99 per year. Yes, per year. We’re not trying to get rich here, just covering the basic costs to keep the app updated and useful for dental professionals.

I've been using this app for a good 5 or 7 years. It is the quick reference I needed when I cannot remember the dosage regimen for a less commonly prescribed medication. A subscription for something that barely changes is excessive. I was more than satisfied by the simple UI before and there was no need to give it a facelift. Maybe consider an alternate option of a reasonable one-time fee instead of a sub. I opened the app today and found myself paywalled out of analgesics, so inconvenient.

Hi, we truly appreciate your support and for being a loyal user of our app! We kept Dental Drugs free for almost 09 years but to keep improving, adding new features & maintaining quality, we introduced a small subscription fee of $3/year. This helps us sustain the platform & continue bringing valuable updates for you. Hope for your understanding!
