Great... if you like guys 2,000 miles away Scruff seems to draw a better crowd than the other gay apps. Most guys use face pics, and because the profile asks for lots of details, plenty of users give more than just their age and height. The paid version isn't cheap, but it adds a lot of features. The only catch is that Scruff mixes you up with guys from all over the world, not just nearby - which means a lot of nice chats that don't lead to more.
Great app The app works great and it has some pretty sweet features to help it give a much better experience over other social apps. Sure, there are some limitations imposed on free users, but it is certainly more lenient compared to other major ones I've used. It also isn't as invasive and we have much more control over it, unlike Grindr. All in all, it's a great app, and its innovations are pretty nice.
Match stick matching is cool i guess... Whilst this app doesnt seem to crash and i enjoy the variety of sections to fill out in profiles, it really frustrates me that all my older messages arnt saved unless you pay for premium? Like wtf. I can only have 5 or 6 lines of dialogue with someone new before it disappears. I understand a paid for version of the app needs to exsist but i would mever have invested in this app if after years now i cant go back and read some of my previous conversations.
More local guys, please? I don't have pro but even so its nearly,no,impossible to find the younger genre i'm looking for in my metro area. I don't want to travel the world in search of someone. Closer would be nicer! Hopefully you can help?? Good site otherwise, loads in seconds. Very good, quick.
Better than the competition The app is crashing less often for me now and, because it allows a full description, seems to attract more intelligent people than the competition. I was a member for a year but am not prepared to keep paying more than £5 per month for the privilege. If the subscription was around £3 per month I think Scruff would have many more subscribers.
Scruff Match This feature is fun to use. However, is it possible to integrate the option to allow the user to reverse a Yes/No decision on a profile ONCE if it was accidental? I found myself doing that often and miss out on some great guys. And....why can't you woof at guys in Scruff Match to get their attention?
