Corners can flip? I was under the impression that a corner was a "stable" square & couldn't be flipped.. This flips them all the time. Otherwise it's good - just no lay down of the rules it goes by. Why / how are the corners able to flip? And any other questions necessary to this version..
Excellent, with some needed improvements This is by far the best Othello/Reversi game I've played. I started out at the Specialist level, and haven't won a single game yet. I'm switching back to Amateur for a while to build up my confidence. The problem is that I like to use my tablet in landscape mode, and in that mode, several of the controls are off-screen. Swiping doesn't do anything, so I can't access them without shifting to portrait mode. The game should be the same no matter how I hold the device.
Newby Learned how to play with this app. Great momentary entertainment. While developing stratage. Some times freezes but a quick close and open nocks it back into shape. May have been fixed with upgrade. Looking forward to the multiplayer function.
The game runs quite well. No bugs or major isues. The difficulty compared to other othello games is too. Even the highest difficulty didn't felt challenging.
Good, but the counters are so small on a phone i kept dropping mine on the wrong square. Also, even 'student' mode is fiendishly difficult. Gets a bit disheartening getting beaten all the time. Going to look for an alternative with a full screen board.
Good app This app is a great way to learn and develop strategy. Has been more than 30 years since I played this game, but it quickly came back.
* NEW local multiplayer mode - play against your friends!
* We heard you and we listen: The ads are now muted by default. We don't want you to get annoyed... :/
* The black player now always moves first (sorry! :))
