I ended up paying for no ads, but mainly because I think it's a decent app. So far, the only thing that's been a hiccup for me was underatanding the "grinder" settings. Im assuming it's clicks? Or maybe micron movement? It's not clear, but it's still usable. I think what would be better is to allow us to choose clicks, movement l, and rotations. All that would be needed was the ability to add a unit of measure and to be able to use multiple periods. An example would be x.xx.xx for the digits.

I've tried several coffee apps over the past few months, and I can say with confidence that Brew Timer is my favorite. I like the UI, and being able to separate recipes by brew devices. The ads were bothersome, but the cost to remove them is reasonable, so I did. My only nitpick is the "add your grinder" feature. I have a hand grinder that has 240 clicks or steps, but you can only input up to 99 steps in the app. I found a workaround for it, but it is not as intuitive as I would have hoped.

Great aesthetics, and everything works flawlessly. A huge number of preprogrammed recipes and adding your own is super easy. The only thing that could make it better is home screen widgets to jump to specific recipes you use the most, but that's clearly a nitpick on what is one of the best coffee timers in the app store.
