CAN USE EVEN WHEN THE PHONE IS PATTERN/PIN/PASSWORD LOCKED. For Android 4.2 & up, you can add the ICE widget to the system lock screen. For earlier versions of Android, ICE provides its own lock screen mode. The ICE lock screen also includes an optional "if found" message in case you lose your phone.
Install our companion app “Family Medical Info” to store medical info for the entire family, including vaccinations and medical history. Optionally share some or all family info with ICE. When info is shared with ICE, an additional “Family Info” category is added following Medications that will allow you or emergency service providers to access the shared info.
*** NEW: optionally use the (FREE) web version of Family Medical Info (FMI) to create & edit profiles on your computer. From Google Chrome on your computer, go to http://goo.gl/N80BQ to install the web app (currently, this only works with the Chrome browser). Or, just search for Appventive in the Chrome Web Store. Profiles created with the web version of FMI can be imported into either FMI or ICE. ***
Optionally choose to email selected information (e.g., to your doctor).
Dynamically switch between Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek (Android 2.3+), Hebrew (Android 4.2+), Italian, Japanese, Polish, Spanish, Swedish and Vietnamese when travelling. If you would like to help translate ICE into a different language, please email us.
Optionally export the ICE user profile for use on other devices, or to save an off-device backup. The exported profile can also be used by Family Medical Info.

ICE This App has proven itself to be extremely useful I had to unfortunately be rushed to the hospital & as usual the EMT's & Dr's had all these questions so I just opened the App & pointed that got all the info they needed. I suggest this App to the world, great support too.

When setup on my lockscreen, this app has a tendency to lag my phone something terrible. I only set it up on my lockscreen prior to going mountain biking. Otherwise, I disable it 'til I need it. For reference, I'm using a Note 4 (5.0.1) on Verizon's network. Other than that... it's not a bad app.

Quite good app. I would put a 5 star if this app had better Lollipop lock screen integration. Indeed, I always need to click on "Unlock" then enter my PIN every time to unlock the phone. I can add a delay to avoid this problem but I don't like to put a delay for an ICE app. Also, I cannot use the black wake up screen without the ICE screen to get opened.

just what I was looking for I have a Moto X running Kit Kat and couldn't figure out if/where ICE was built into the phone. I thought about taping a little card inside the phone case, but an app would allow people to call my emergency numbers. This app works perfectly for me. I put my data into the Web version of FMI (see the programmer's description above), then imported it into ICE - easier to do this than typing everything into the phone. I set ICE to display on my lock screen. It changes how the Moto X's default lock screen looks - I think this is alluded to by "A Google User" in their review. Now I have to drag the lock across the screen, rather than down, to unlock the phone. BUT I can easily mute the phone by dragging from the right, which is something I was sorry to lose in Kit Kat.

No longer working Was great on my earlier phones but since I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 it won't show up on my home screens or even in my list of Apps. The play store confirms I've paid for it, and that it's installed, but I can't get to it. Tried uninstalling then reinstalling but no luck. Frustration capacity reached. Switching to a competitor's product that has the additional feature of the ability to send emergency messages to family members.

Disabled Veteran It is easy to find the information quickly. The lock screen didnt disable my lock screen wallpaper or pattern password. The only thing that I feel should be added is a section for identifying marks incase the face is to damages to reconize

Great app and support! I've used this for a few years, and it works great. The only issue I've run into is when I try to open a Google Drive file, this app tries to import the file or something, and there is nothing on the screen except "Select the profile to import". After working with the support team, it was determined my issue was simply that I didn't have an appropriate app installed. After that, I received the expected screen allowing you to select the app to open the file with. Nothing but good stuff here! :-)
The ease of the app is good but the lock screen is the most annoying thing. I have to slide it twice, the first time it let's you right in but then after several seconds it takes you back out. I would expect something like this from a free app but one I paid almost $5 for...ridiculous! Fix that and I will rate it higher.
Good app, but lock screen can be a bit inconvenient at times. Good app, I just wish there was a way to bypass the Unlock button when desired. Having to press the unlock button every single time I pick up my phone (Moto Razr Maxx HD) gets to be a bit inconvenient. I've tried adjusting the app's delay settings, but it the unlock screen pops up after the designated delay time and interrupts whatever I'm doing on the phone. Other than that it works well.
Bugged In essence, this is a great app. In these times, it helps knowing that if something catastrophic happens, you'd have some way of communicating what needs to be done. However, I'm not sure why it keeps failing on me. I keep having to manually get it to show up on the start screen. God forbid it fails if something bad happens to me!! I think this needs to be addressed ASAP. Until then, no more than two stars.

For Android 4.2 & up we recommend putting the ICE widget on the system lock screen, instead of using the ICE lock screen mode. Please email us at support@appventive.com if you have any questions or problems. Great app. Terrible lock screen. The information contained with the app is fantastic and is everything that would be needed in the car of an emergency. On the other hand the lock screen integration with lollipop is horrible, it always replaces the lock screen with it's own, dated lock screen just to open the app. Once this gets a modern lock screen or better integration with the current versions of Android this will be fantastic.
Shame! This is a fantastic idea, i ride a motorcycle and a pushbike. Both can be a little dangerous and both generally you are on your own, so this app makes good sense to me. It makes the medical info easy to find and keeps my phone locked. Well thats the theory, in practice it worked for about a week. The lock screen does not start itself every time, so you do not know if the app has started or not! This is annoying and a shame, cos its a great app. I do not want to uninstall it and pay again...
Useful, but atrocious design Unquestionably, the core of the app is useful, and does what it needs to do. The problem is that the visual design is beyond appalling. Ugly is a massive understatement. I use minimalistic text to bypass the widget, but nonetheless, something needs to be done, both in this app and in the category in general.
Very Disappointing This app has very poor integration with the stock Lollipop lock screen. It's version of a lock screen "widget" is to show a fake lock screen with the ICE banner on it where you click or swipe to get to your real lock screen. Booo. I understand that lock screen widgets have gone away in Lollipop after reading about this problem, so it may not entirely be the app developer's fault. However now I'm out the price of the app and I've supported an app I feel doesn't deserve my support. Oh and when charging, the ICE lockscreen comes up and has to be cleared before the phone's screen shuts off. Very poor form, indeed. Oh and be careful what info you put in the app, it shows up on an all or nothing basis. App looks horrible, no attention has been paid to making this a pretty app. User experience is VERY clunky. If google had make this app, it never would have been released. Sorry, hate to make that comparison, but I have to for an app, I'll be seeing every time I unlock my phone! Disabling lock screen info for now. I'm giving it 2 stars because it simply does only what it advertises: Aggregate ICE info, and make it available without unlocking the device. However, it fails to impress.
A real life saver! I really like this app! It really comes in handy during doctor appointments. It also has come in handy when I had a medical emergency, several months ago. I just have 1 question. On my previous phone (Moto X), I found a way to place a widget on my lock screen instead of using your lock screen. Is there a way to do it on my Samsung Galaxy S5? I would still like a suggestion on how to make a widget work on the lock screen, I noticed that in a more recent comment, you told a customer that it could be done!
Doesn't work on Galaxy S6! I loved this app, it was more yam worth the price I paid for it. But it doesn't work on my new phone at all. It flashes open just for a second and then vanishes. I was so disappointed - I have a chronic condition and use this app a lot. I really hope it's updated for the S6.
A life-saver! As a person with multiple medical conditions, a swag of medications and a few allergies thrown in just for fun, this app has been a life-saver on a number of occasions. I've been using it for a number of years, over a number of different phones, with little or no trouble transferring from phone to phone.
Brilliant Usually I look for free alternatives, but this is an important service for those of us with health concerns. This app not only is comprehensive, easy to navigate, & excellent in the lock-screen access it provides, but I also love the old-school swipe access to silencing/refreshing your phone easily :)
Lock screen issue I had this app on my lock screen for about 3 weeks. Since then, I've had trouble with my alarms in the morning. I set 3 sound alarms daily- this app causes first alarm to not make any noise, and automatically snoozes it. If the phone screen is dark, alarms will not make noise even if they're set to. Once the screen is bright (and remains bright) the other alarms will function properly. I just tested this by disabling the ICE lock screen and now my alarms work perfectly. I'll update my review when fixed.
Needs some interface improvements If you have a long list of medications, some people may not know that they need to scroll down. I tested this with several people and some did not know there is more listed if you scroll down. Ideally on any of the tabs if more information is available by scrolling down, there should be a line or icon to indicate it or maybe a page no. like page 1/3 .
Great app. Great support. I love this app. I'm a mountain biker and it gives me a little extra peace of mind that in case of an emergency anybody can access my emergency contracts, without having access to my entire phone. The lock screen widget (Android 4.2+) allows you to put the app front and center, so it will be the first thing people see when the try to unlock your phone. Appventive also delivers great support. Twice I have emailed them with some suggestions and in both cases they replied to me within a day.
Good, but needs 2 factor authentication I like this but my information is readily available if I lose my phone. Put a PIN AND hint so I can say look on medical bracelet and finish number sequence (303) 429-XXXX. This way if I'm unconscious they can look at bracelet and unlock, but if I lose phone the finder/thief cannot
Clive. Taxi driver. Wrote my car off a few days after installing ICE. Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics & Ambulance staff all considered this app to be top draw. £2.99 is value when you consider it could save your life. BUY IT. Just installed it on Galaxy Note 3, looks even better.
Great concept, terrible execution This app should be amazing, but isn't. Plain and simple. It rarely shows up on my lock screen. I've noticed it only shows up if I've opened the app before locking my phone. Then it does, and works great... under the assumption I pre open the app EVERY TIME I use my phone. The whole idea was a just in case, not a "hold up emergency situation, I need to unlock my phone, open a specific app, lock my phone, then it might work to do it's only job."
Insurance Information Since last update, I have not been able to enter or edit insurance info. I can't even pull the insurance information up. Please help me, I need to enter my new insurance information because I have a new insurance provider. I'm lowering my star rating to 2 until its corrected or I receive a response from you.
It works but there are tradeoffs If you have health issues that make it likely that a first responder will need your health information this is a good app. I do not but wanted to have this information readily available *just in case* since we never know. This app makes its own lock screen and it behaved strangely from the start. Weird to always be dropped into the Google App after unlocking the phone. Might help, certainly will not hurt.
it's fine in principle but often stops working lock screen notification often stops working, until i manually go in and open the app from my app list. and even then, sometimes the app won't open, so i'm still out of luck. have tried uninstalling and reinstalling 2x.
