Love this app. Only one thing Radar and satellites are flawless, they always work, no complaints. However, the winds aloft does NOT work. The map of the country shows up but once I tap the map, nothing happens. I have held the screen and tapped it, but I get no response. I would love the winds aloft to work. Did not work on Galaxy s4 in may. And still does not work on galaxy s5 now. This has been going on for months with no improvement. Fix it
5 years now... I have to type it in- just as it says: Aviation Weather from NOAA/NWS or ill wind up with some other crap. Its the very best for estimating my weather as I work outside and "The Weather Channel" is ALWAYS WRONG!!!! Funny thing is, I have been using this App for about 5 years now and the morans at TWC are just recently talking about "this new INFRARED technology which is coming available" and they never show it or say - here it is. HERE IT IS!!
Student through ATP I love this app. It has just about everything I need (notams would be nice but I can get elsewhere). I used it as a stident pilot going to the practice area, I use it as a jet pilot going across the country. A true must have.
Best weather geek app out there As a guy with a degree in meteorology, I really love this because I can see the weather surface analysis. It has everything you need. Tried to go ad free, but apparently you can't. Oh well the ads are not obnoxious.
I paid and still have advertising I would have given this app a better rating. But I paid for it and still have advertise in. Even after reinstalling it.. update. . Found the problem to actually be the kit Kat SanDisk bug
Why can't I go ad free App is very useful, much easier than trying to use the website with mobile browser., however, when I click the go add free button from menu, it does nothing. More than happy to pay for apps that are useful. Android 6.0, nexus 6p.
v2.2 has an improved user interface, including support for pinch zooming
v2.3.2 fixes a bug for Android 4.2
v2.3.3 removes the Lookout advertisement (but still has banner ads that can be turned off by purchasing the ad-free license for $0.99)
