Got this to play on my Asus Nexus Player and enjoyed it so much that after the first race I was already trying to figure out how how to buy the full version of the game! (You don't get the option until you've cleared the first screen, then it was only $2.99. Well worth it for the fun I've already had!) Also, the game works fine with the gamepad but the controls are setup for the remote. Just an FYI for everyone. The only real sticking point is how long it takes to load the screens and the races in between screens.
Old school play with decent controls With mobile gaming continuing to suck, this is a breath of fresh air. $3 "shareware" style payment gets you the whole game - with plenty up front for free. Clean graphics with 16-bit style and gameplay with enough extras to keep everyone interesting. Racing games tend to suck with touch controls, but they have tighted this up and made it very playable. Highly recommended. Devs - enough Facebook crap. Google Play Games support please.
Probably the best racing game on the app store (YES WAY BETTER THEN ASPHALT/NFS) If you like classic racing games like Top Gear, this is well worth the $3 for the full game. No in app purchases/Microtransactions (thank god). The game is challenging but fair, and it is very fun to play once you get the hang of it. Unlike Asphalt 8/Xtreme and NFS you won't have to spend $20+ just to get one car. $3 gets you everything the game has to offer and unlocking new cars/content is not hard and doesn't take long at all. Don't listen to the cheap-o's who want the game to be free.
Great, but load times are AWFUL The initial load time is a minute. A MINUTE. And this, on my more than capable, Idol 4s. Whereas on iOS the loads times are almost negligible. But this game will never see an update, so there's that. Great game, though, if you like old school/Outrun racers. Look great and sounds great. Just takes all of FOREVER to load.
Old schoolers eat your heart out! I've been a fan of racing games since the days of the ZX spectrum (Enduro racer anyone?), Lotus Esprit TC on the Amiga, Grand Prix on the PC the list goes on. I first played this game at a store on an iPAD and I was hooked. It's a well produced game and well worth the money.
Awesome but... It felt so good when I played the game, I was too excited. But then I noticed its a paid game, the price is not much. The thing is I am -18. I dont think my elders would let me use their card to pay for a game. Well, thats end of another good game for me, btw screen turns off during race(race is paused) add screen always on. Everything else is good I would suggest others to play. :)
