I love this game, once you get the hang of it, it's a blast! It's good as a time waster or you can sit down and loose three hours. Things I'd like to see. Ore stacking just like lumber and such. Ideas, difficulty increase. Once you've mastered island 1, you're pretty much good to go. And gear to make sense. I spent time getting all bronze only to find stone that was better on the next island
Love the game since it was in the early stages. The leveling I think is better and the menus have changed considerably as well as the game design. I do have a random issue I want to bring up. Saved and loaded today after picking it up again and noticed that my lvl 9 character after just exploring the map is now lvl 7 with none of my progress but the map generated. Also i cannot kill enemies now. They die but keep spawning and wont let me leave a spot unless I flee. Sad as I had a great game going and was just going to go to another island.
Love the game. Only one criticism: it needs some kind of tutorial or introduction where it explains how the game works. Besides that it is a great rougelike RPG that I would recommend to friends. PS: one of the best things about this is that if focused on gameplay instead of graphics unlike most games you find.
I really enjoyed the game for the first island. After that the shops would only display the first item in my inventory which made selling items (which was my primary source of income) extremely frustrating. Other than that it's a solid game. Update: It seemed to be caused by an item in my inventory. I can't say which one specifically but I'm led to believe it was uncooked flesh of some variety. Shops seem to be displaying my inventory normally again.
Ever since the big update, the balance of the game is broken. The world now levels up along with you, slightly behind your character. Even on difficult, after the first couple of levels it's hard to find any challenge at all. Such a shame because I had fallen in love with this game right before the update. Also now the GUI cuts off the upper half of all inventory items. Droid turbo 2.
It is a brilliant game. It takes close to no battery power at all. The one problem is that with the previous versions of the game, the button sizes were perfect. Now it is this massive cluster of giant boxes that needlessly clog up the screen and make the map, one of the most important things, extremely tiny. If you are trying to make it easier for people with fingers the an inch in diameter, or have ridiculously terrible aim, just make it a setting "Unnecessarily huge buttons: on/off". Other than that, its great.
Small bugfixing update! :)
