About this app

Howard Phillips Lovecraft (August 20, 1890 – March 15, 1937) was an American author who achieved posthumous fame through his influential works of horror fiction. Virtually unknown and only published in pulp magazines before he died in poverty, he is now regarded as one of the most significant 20th-century authors in his genre.

This lightweight app contains the complete horror fiction stories and novels written by H.P. Lovecraft.

No Necronomicon? HP Lovecraft liked to use odd words, when a simple one would have worked. Considering this was made for magazine readers, he was probably thumbing through a thesaurus to sound (or the character) more intelligent. I can not fault the app for his style, but it'd have been nice to have a built in help function for less common words. Valise- means luggage or suitcase for instance. You'll be stopping and looking up words at least once a paragraph, unless you are an English Major...

Just way too many full page, full motion ads. No matter the quality of any app it's something I just can't put up with. I wouldn't mind paying for a no ad version if it was offered. Plus there's just so many other ways to read Lovecraft. So I'm installing.
