The preferred automation tool Have been a user of Tasker for many years, but now switched to MacroDroid. MacroDroid is powerful, comes with a whole bunch of templates you can use, modify, learn from and is much easier to use! While Tasker is probably more powerful, it is a hassle to get to learn to use it. Maintenance is more difficult and in the end, really you don't use all those features anyway. I believe I will stick with MacroDroid. Bought the full version and looking forward to new features.
Intuitive Design, Easy to use, Time Saver I like just about everything with the app. The options used to automate tasks, particularly multi step tasks with constraints took some trial and error to get working. However, once I had a better understanding of some options, I was all set with all of the automation I required. I look forward to further updates.
Very useful app but its a heavy battery drainer. Had the paid version but unfortunately had to un-install. Would be great if this can be corrected. It's 2 stars for me. Solve the battery drain issue and you get 5 stars.
This app is so great... This app is so great I put lighter fluid in my hair and light a cigarette. Then slammed my head in the car door repeatedly till the fire went out. It's that great.
Geofence triggers I use Geofence trigger to auto config. On/Off wifi triggers now uses a Geozone to configure the location. But (still) occasionally it triggers on/off wifi without moving. The new added experimental Geofence trigger that works the same as the Location trigger but uses the Android Geofence libraries. that is on my Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge one star more, great app thks.
Totally worth it This is a really great app. I use it to make some tasks quicker and easier to do, and to catch anyone trying to steal my phone. Upgrading to pro is worth every single penny for what this app can do. I personally upgraded to the pro version.
