FAQ:

Q: Is the audio track feature available in the Guitar Pro mobile application?
A: Unlike in Guitar Pro for Windows and Mac, the audio track feature is not accessible in the Guitar Pro mobile app.
You can play local Guitar Pro files that include an audio track, but the audio track won't be shown or played.
The mySongBook scores with embedded audio tracks are not available in the mobile app.

Q: Can I create or edit sheet music with this app?
A: Unlike Guitar Pro for Windows and Mac, this app does not let you change the notation in an existing Guitar Pro file, or create sheet music in standard notation. It is however possible to edit a single-track tablature with the NotePad tool. Editing a drum track is not available with the NotePad tool.

I appreciate having the app available and being able to pull up my scores on my phone but it needs a little work. My current frustrations are that it plays the lead in countdown and anacrusis super fast unlike the Windows app. Also, the rolling edge while playing is too far to the right of the screen leaving me blind to what is more than one beat beyond. I would prefer the score scroll smoothly while the beat marker moves along.

As an owner of the PC version I decided to purchase the android app to use with my files from Songsterr. Even though this works fine on the PC, it crashes the android app. There's a message about the app having a bug and I should update after the developer fixes the issue. Songsterr will export a file as MIDI or for Guitar Pro so it should work. Without a fix I've wasted my money because I purchased the app for a single purpose.

Wow I cannot believe they charge for this app and I got suckered into paying for it. It is unusable. I have the desktop software and it's amazing but the app is horrible. The sounds are worse than an Atari system. There is no zoom so the font is super small and adjusting the font size doesn't do anything either. App doesn't support the embedded track that was used in the desktop to build the score. Also, what is up with the sloped bars connecting the notes? I want them flat like they should be.
