Pass through the four stages of birth as a fetus, in order to understand the source of physical traumas that may develop into unconscious fears experienced during adult life, in this gamified VR experience.
This project is inspired by the works of Stanislav Grof regarding the perinatal experience and tributes the Holotropic Breathwork® technique, developed by him and Christina Grof. The different elements of the experience, are common themes that often arise in the reports and art works of people who experienced altered states of consciousness. Please note that experience not affects the consciousness state, and that it is a conceptual working prototype for a larger project that may be developed in the future.
HOLOTRIP is my Final Project for the Interactive Design degree at Avni Institute of Art and Design, Tel Aviv. Software used: Unity Personal(programming via Playmaker), Maya 2016 Student, RealFlow 2015(Demo).
Recommended to use on phones with strong GPU for the full immersion (Samsung S6/LG G4/Note 5 or better). Requires VR headset, and it is adviced to use a headset with an open camera window, to experience the app in it's full.
