Got this included with play pass, glad I didn't pay for it. This game is pretty lame, not up to the standard of most artifex mundi games. The puzzles are a minus 10 on challenge, and some of the mini games were so dumb I just skipped them rather than be bored. Also, what is with the people who did the voices? Especially the main character. The worst actor ever. Skip it. Gave 2 stars cause interface is decent.

The puzzles are easier than most in this adventure game which does make it shorter, one minigame didn't work, but the rest was smooth. I believe they were going for a "film noir" (Sam Spade, Humphrey Bogart) affect with a dead pan emotionless detective but didn't quite pull it off. (It reminded me of Lucy from Charlie Brown, but I got used to it.) It's better than most games of this type, but doesn't compete with the best (I wouldn't be upset if I'd paid $3 or $4 but it's overpriced at $7)

Was a good story. Poor voice acting and one major game freeze made it a bit less enjoyable. I messed up the handle sequence to open the secret passage and the game choked. No error catching or reset of the puzzle forced me to begin from the beginning. I did eventually finish the game, and got all the achievements. I did enjoy most of the game. Being forced to start over for one mistake in a memory game with a memory issue of my own, that was pretty stressful. At least let us try again.
